Tre

On my PC there appears to be a glitch at the beginning of the video, like it's losing frequency. ???

Its the effect of creating something in HD, watch it in HD or upgrade your pc to watch higher quality videos :)

Looks like an El Diablo; a great machine, no doubt, but debateable whether it is the "baddest" on the planet. What MECHANICAL upgrades have you done to make it the "baddest"?

Did you guys box the bottom of the frame with diamond plate? Aren't you afraid of frying the hoses and wiring that run underneath since the muffler/silencer is down there as well? It's probably just for show anyway......nice work on the bling, though.

You guys should take that to Connections and hire P. Diddy to perform a couple of songs out of the back.

Does it on my droid too. ??

Any plans to sell Heat Exchange units also?

Some cleaners won't want the additional hassle of a secondary fuel source.

Not just cost of the fuel but maintaining the system and nuisance of making sure you don't run out of heating fuel.

We ran propane for years and it's a great source for heat, (not as hot as Kero) and plenty of heat when you needed it.

However I was relieved when we finally moved all our TM's to heat exchange.

Actually the El Diablo ranks second with the Gold Standard to the Rug Doctor which has a Platinum rating and also carries the Certified Space Technology designation.

So the Rug Doctor Not only rules on the planet, but also in Space. (They must think we are morons)

Gotta love the CRI/SOA, a fire breathing dragon coming in second to a Rug Doctor rental.

Too bad the dollars mean more to the CRI than actual performance!

I found that to be quite titillating.

George Lucas and Beelzebub would be proud.

Crikey, it's only an ad for his own self interests, aka his forum.

I thought it would be something worthwhile like an actual machine working for a change.

Yet another disappointment.

See you in September Aaron. ;-)

Ooroo,

Your dual wading with a blower only rated for 350 CFM?

You did that much work to an older ugly truck?

Who would buy the El Diablo? When they can get a Judson C4 for almost the same price.

The C4 has almost twice the vacuum (500 CMF), a larger waste tank and a smaller foot print.

You know Tre its funny to see you guys defending the CRI when all you used to do was bash it. Its easy to see money is the only thing that matters and you will spread lies and propaganda to make it.

Ryan, I do not support the CRI at all.

I am not part of the CRI nor the IICRC.

Havn't you seen our videos of the cri approval vs our non-cri truckmount.

:)

Great work on the video Tre, it's high quality stuff!

Glad to hear you don't support the CRI.

It makes no sense that a Rug Doctor could ever compare to a TM as hot as the El Diablo.

Then to rank it higher, just shows you how little value the SOA program has.

Sorry Tre I must have misread something 'cause it sure looked like you did. Glad to hear you don't.

Can you educate me about the El Dialbo? Is dual wanding with a 45 blower really an option?

Was it just board differences or is there really a good reason why you wouldn't buy a Judson instead? 'Cause I just don't get it....

The Judson has more HP a bigger blower, (48 trilobe verses a 45 bilobe.) Better engineering (zero resistance in the plumbing) and a better track record (been building TM's since the frist one)

Tre - thanks for letting me link to your Rug Doctor vs Truck mount video - it's still one of the more entertaining ones I've seen on the scam by CRI.

RE: Video: BADDEST TM on Planet landed me a 28k job: Rob Allen: 8/1/2010 2:12:09 PM
I got the call for the 1200 futons and 5200 pillows cleaning job. Sandee set up the appointment. They wanted an estimate and for us to come by and look at the futons and pillows. So I stradled the El Diablo baddest truckmount set up and headed out. When I arrived to this building (it was over a 1/2 mile long and almost 6 million square ft,geez) I asked security to send out the building manager and his warehouse manager with the 3 pieces for inspection. I did this on purpose,I wanted to test or inspect them with the back door of my baddest truck mount open and let them see the inside of how professional and clean it is. Well long story short when they arrived out and I opened the door they were amazed and blurted you are the most professional cleaner to show up so far. They then asked me about the machine and set up and I explained briefly. I took the pillows back got them clean and brought them back. We got the job and finished it yesterday. It more than paid for the machine and left a few k in my pocket. Now in my mind I thought it would be a great marketing tactic and it worked. I have taken the unit out on a few jobs and the response has been overwhelming from women and men. They said they have never seen anything like it. I believe this business is 99% visuals so I recommend that everything you have is neat clean and lettered well to make the largest visual impact possible. It will imho lead to more jobs, referrals and repeats. It may even pay off your equipment in one swipe!

As to why we chose a pristine 2002 truck with 24k miles on it,why we went w/the El D and a complete review with cfm, lift, temp gauges and in the field usage watch for the full video coming in August!

Nice after the fact edit Rob... true to form.

RE: Video: BADDEST Carpet Cleaning Truckmount On The Planet: Richard Chavez: 8/2/2010 12:24:42 PM
It is a nice truck Rob, but the problem with pushing "Use me because I have this TM" is that someone with a bigger more powerful truck can come along and take your client.

I think you're always much better off selling your experience, training and years in business.

Biggest and Baddest is more of a cleaners thing, clients just care about results.

RE: Video: BADDEST Carpet Cleaning Truckmount On The Planet: Rob Allen: 8/2/2010 1:59:24 PM
You missed the point Richard. The point is putting your best foot forward and instilling confidence. This may help you secure jobs that others may not who are messy and not concerned with appearance and overall projection. It is also cumulative, something that is part of a comprehensive package of an overall business model projection.

In the meantime I have a 28k check that proves it works. And besides that, who is going to show up with a better looking set up than in that video above? ;-)

I agree with your point, but as I said I'd prefer do it selling the man vs selling the machine.

We have a nice fleet of trucks and cleaning units, so I wouldn't be afraid for them to see our rigs.

I just don't want them to think the machine is more important than the man running the machine.

So tell us how did you clean the upholstery? Did you use the El Diablo?

Did you have to turn the heat down or was the material heavily soiled?

Did you run two tools off the rig?

What tools did you use?

$38,000.00 is sweet! How did you price it?
