Subject: Your minimum price

Here’s an interesting observation. Although carpet cleaning prices haven’t increased much over the years (in fact, in our surveys it shows they went down a bit in the past few years), minimum prices seem to have risen quite a bit. What have you done with your minimum price over the years? Have they gone down, remained the same, gone up?

1968 $49

1983 - 1989 (Approx) $59

1990 - 2002 (approx) $69 localy with higher minimums for customers a greater distance out.

2002 - 2005 $79

Don't clean many carpets now. When I do, it is usually for free.

On a side note I think we are going to go up a little more come first of the year.

Traveling further out in our service area, the min charge increases to a max of $140. Same price per sq ft to all areas.
