Liquid 90 is meant as an extraction detergent but I have some cleaners use it as a prespray.  It is not going to work as effective as cleaning agents designed as preconditioning such as Express Lane or similar.

If you paid for a carpet cleaning class go get your money back they didnt teach you anything.
Formula 90 is not a pre-treatment, it is an "in tank" solution.

Ken is correct. Liquid 90, Like Powdered 90 is formulated to be a rinse detergent. As such, it is designed to be used at dilutions from 320:1 and up. Whereas pre-conditioners, formulated to suspend soil before rinsing, are meant to be usd at dilution ratios from 10:1 to 32:1.

How's it feel to be called an idiot in your own thread.

Just asking ... I already know the answer from personal experience.

Michael, don't let the BB bullies get to you.  They know sometimes less than you so take things with a grain of salt.

Most extraction formulas can be used as a prespray too.

Presprays are just another way of the chem companies getting into your pocket.

Don't feel bad Michael, Ken went to school and failed to learn how to spell "PARTNERS" on his web-site.

Chemspec is a great product, check out their D.F.C. line Detergent Free Cleaners.

Michael it was not a shot at you, it was a shot at your CCT instructor.

Tony- I don't build web sites, that's what web design companies do. I guess I should fire mine.
Ps. In our Canadian Schools they don't keep you back a year for spelling 1 word wrong. Low standards EH? So I don't think my web guy failed.
