DAMAGE CONTROL BULLETIN BOARD

Recently the carwash that I work for has had an
issue with breaking the passenger side mirror off
on early 2000 model Ford Focuses when they are
passing through the mitters. I was wondering
if anyone else had incountered this issue. We are an
Exterior Express carwash only. Any responses would
be appreciated. Thanks.

Not responsible for non fold in mirrors.
Focus,Grand Am,Grand Prix,Rangers,
Mustangs,etc. Your greeter needs to
pay attention and inform the customer.
Most Exterior Express Washes in my area
are not going to pay for any damage.

The Focus and the Grand Am are probably the 2 worst designed mirrors by any auto manufacturer! I agree - make sure you educate your greeter to warn customers that they are entering the tunnel at there own risk.

Again, thanks for all your responses since this was posted, we
haven't had any problems. Appreciate the responses.

Have not had any Ford Focus. Once a year, maybe a Grand Am mirror. We keep the Wraps adjusted properly and damage is kept to a minimum.
